On the subscription details page, click Edit recurring billing under Subscription and payment settings.
Select the subscription you don’t want anymore. If you do, go to the Billing > Your products page in the Microsoft admin center. On the next page, click the Billing profiles tab to see if you have a billing profile. In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to Billing > Billing & payments. You should also check if your Microsoft account has global admin or billing admin privileges because other account types will not be able to cancel the paid subscription.įirst, you should check if you have a billing profile in your Microsoft account. You should start this process a few days before the renewal date to avoid a situation where you have to pay the subscription fee again. Before you unsubscribe, you may have to take extra steps like reducing the number of licenses in your organization. The cancellation process is different for those with a business subscription to Microsoft 365. Once you've pressed the Confirm button, you'll be free to enjoy your subscription.
You can then download your Office apps, in the final step. You'll want to then confirm the subscription, by clicking Confirm. This is completely optional, though, and you can turn it off with the green Recurring billing switch. In some cases, turning on the yearly or monthly recurring billing will get you one month free. You'll also see an option to add a credit or debit card and turn on recurring billing if you want. The name if your subscription will appear, and you'll want to confirm it by clicking Next. This will take a few seconds, and you should see that your product key will eventually be confirmed. Enter it in, and then select your country and language, and then click Next. Third, you'll want to let Microsoft check your product key. Step 3: Click Next to let Microsoft check your product key This key can be found at the back of a card or box, or on a receipt. You'll then want to enter your product key. When you see your account, click the blue Next button.
Once there, select the Microsoft Account you want to use your subscription code with.
Next up, you'll want to visit the Microsoft Office setup website. Step 2: Visit /Setup and follow the instructions You also can use your existing email, or create a new one, too.
